The Truth Thursday prompt for this week added reasons for me to look forward for the weekend. Oh man, i was very excited because i love music and i am the type of person who ‘always have a song’. Whether its a hard day at work or celebrating victories, there is often an exact song to describe the moment. There are also moments when i am in my worst emotions and God will play a song in my iPhone, exactly how He wanted to comfort me and make me even braver.. *rainbows*clouds*flying*
But this week is about bravery; Brave is defined as ‘ready to face and endure danger or pain; showing courage’. So below are some of the songs that make me brave and a snippet of the lines that causes me to roar with all out bravery 🙂 i may not be as brave as i hope to be, but with continued perseverance, discipline & trust in God (knowing His the one who makes me brave anyway) i will get there.
Oh and who knows, while reading/ listening to this songs, it might spark some bravery on you too! enjoy! =D
Mash-up of Fly/ I Believe I Can Fly by Glee (I am a big fan of Glee and this mash-up made the 2 songs shout bravery even louder)
I came to win, to fight, to conquer, to thrive. I came to win, to survive, to prosper to rise. to fly… i believe i can fly, i believe i can touch the sky.. Get ready for it, i came to win.. if i just believe it, there’s nothing to it.. i came to win.
… only rainbow after rain, the sun will always come again. and its a circle, circling, around again, it comes around again. but you gotta keep head up oh.. i know its hard, know its hard to remember sometimes, but you gotta keep your head up…
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, stand a little taller, doesn’t mean i’m lonely when i’m alone.. what doesn’t kill you makes a fighter, footsteps even lighter.
toughen up & be brave, my friends. it is this bravery that helps us go through life and learn the better things we don’t learn on good days. ♥ lv.
