The Best of 2011 Series • Still Married

In this day and age where only very few marriages last for a long time and most marriages ends up in divorce, I am very much grateful that in 2011, I am still married – to the same man I married 2 years (now 3 years) ago

I know that the whole adventure called Marriage was a never an easy & smooth one, but I am always grateful that God has given me the opportunity to be married to Glen and to experience the beauty of Marriage. It was never an easy journey, but I can definitely say it is its worth going through it with a man who loves God more than he loves me.

There were times when the adventure seemed to be full of obstacles and at times, we just wanted to quit. But God is ever faithful, helping us EVERY STEP of the WAY. And I think that made all the difference. In this marriage, God is the centre – so no matter how hard or how challenging things can be:

  • we hold on to the One who had brought us together and will keep us together;
  • we hold on to the One who has amazing promises for us;
  • we hold on to the One who holds our future.

Dear Glen,

You are one amazing husband. No matter who we are in the past – it doesn’t matter to me anymore. What matters to me is now and our future together. I know i never made mistake in choosing to marry you. I know how difficult it is to live with a crazy and unpredictable person like me but you always choose to love me, every single day.

I hope you know I will make the same choice every singe day as long as I live.

I love you.
